Psychological Impacts of Cyberspace

Real-world human experiences resonate with visual & auditory contexts. Cyberspace, on the other hand, opens up virtual dimensions of worlds that are more interactive than books, radio and TV. It has given birth to various kinds of interpersonal relations, Behavioural changes and has its own culture and language to live upon. This workshop is designed to discuss the altered self-perception and the way human interacts in cyberspace. How different types of cyber stressors are altering the mood and behaviour of humans in their daily lives. The youth of our country is in the limelight of this platform and the generation born with the internet and technology around them. There is need of hour to understand the concepts of privacy, trust and disclosure over the internet and in-person in order to reduce the issues of conduct, bullying, stalking and emotional abuse as these cases are much more prevalent amongst school-going youth.
